Harris Farm is one of the world’s largest row crop producers of cotton, tomatoes, and various vegetables. They use Famous Grower Accounting for their financial software. We developed a hand-held and PC-based system to capture labor in the field. Features include:

• Uses Famous tables for tasks (laying pipe, driving a tractor, etc.)

• Ability to create crews and crew members


• Captures which crews or individuals are doing what tasks using what equipment


• Uploads daily data into main database where records can be reviewed and approved by a supervisor


• Calculates payroll based on piece rate, minimum wage, over time, double time, etc.


• Synchronizes with Famous Accounting to allow preparation of payroll
• Total labor cost by employee, crew by date range
• Total labor costs associated with each task by date range
• Total hours used on each piece of equipment by date range
